Tier 1 to ILR PEO Croydon 19 March

Post by kingfahad35 » Fri Mar 21, 2014 10:50 am

Thanks To All, Specially to Amber ! ..... I and many likes me learned a lot from this Form.

I had Tier 1 since Mar-2009, Applied ILR including wife and daughter on 19 March in Croydon, Lunar House, Card received on 21-03-2014.

I had Appointment 9:15am
Token Allocated 9:20am
Called to desk 9:30am
Biometric taken 9:45am

They had trainee and or unprofessional lady for biometric........they also had faulty camera after wasting 20 min they changed our counter and biometric was taken.

About 10:15am came back to waiting area.

Waited till 12:00 had call from case worker and she asked very silly question -> do you rent ??? .... I asked her to pls check form I own house since 2007 then she asked an other un-related question -> do you have land registry papers -> luckily I had my mortgage bank statement as cohab proof...I asked to check my documents........then she said you can go out and she will call back after 60-90min......
She called back after 30 min and asked again irrelevant question....is your child born in UK, I said yes, do you claim child benefit, I said never ever.......I got confused and requested her to see me in waiting area if any confusion.

But after waiting another 15min our number was called to collect doc's and visa was approved......

I felt very happy but her questions were still bit disturbing ! any way..... that was her extreme right to ask question(s)..... :-)
