What kind of visa should a spouse of EU national applied for when joining the husband in UK???
Husband EEA national based in UK.
Wife: Nigeriaa

I am not sure if an EEA FP can be applied from Nigeria.

You can apply, but I have noticed that some people on this forum have said that it is a little difficult to get an EEA family permit in Nigeria. You could also use the normal tourist visa to enter the UK, if you can get one. Of course, you would have to provide a lot of info, e.g. funds, your reason to go back home after the visa runs out etc.

It doesnt sound cool to apply for tourist visa when you are planning to join your spouse permanently.. Hemmmm??

The issue is that the British Embassy often reject EEA FPs in Nigeria.

Best to contact them first I think. Make sure you provide them with what they need. Remember, you could always go to another European country with your partner if the UK EEA FP doesn't work out.
