HSMP a case study , please resolve

hi one of my friend who is a student in Uk and has completed his degree



he is still working in a consulting firm where he was working on a student visa from Jan 2007 till October 2007.

and from october he started working fulltime. till Jan 2008

so now his total salary tax paid is around 30K of the past 12 months ( jan 2007 till september 2007( 20 hrs a week) on a student visa

& October 2007 till Jan 2008 on a full time position on IGS) by just working 40 hours a week.


now is his position He is 27 an MSc from UK IELTS 8.5 band

but can he calim the UK earning of a student experience but the salary he was paid is 30 K !

can he apply for his HSMP .

please resolve

Yes. Once he's actually earned the income and received the degree.

yes, as you are telling that he is M.Sc from UK, i think if he qualifies with the points, he can goahead. I know your confusion was with the parttime earnings. But if you make it clear that you worked partime, that shud be fine.
