Uodated Documents for INdian Passport Renewel

Hello

I am in the process of re-newing my Passport which is expiring in May.

I would like to get some guidance here regarding the documents you need to carry.

I know we can look up in old threads, but i also heard they keep on changing like the photograph size, so thought of getting a new uodated list.

Documents required
- Application form to be filled each section.
- 4 passport photos(2" x 2") this included with attached to application at photo section.
- Original & Photo copy of passport (only first and last page)
- Original & Photo copies of visa (I mean BRP card)
- Indian Address Proof Original and Copy (If new address on application form is different from current passport)

If you are adding wife name then you need to

- Submit marriage certificate, (wife passport and visa photo copies-These must be self-attested by her). They will ask you for originals at the time of submission of application, you just need to show them.

All Copies need to be self-attested.

Hi Laxmipathy or anyone who can help

One more question, i dont want to add my wife's name to my passport, but i have been married since my last passsport. Do i still need to take my marriage certificate with me?

And i just said NA in spouse name as i thought i am not adding her name anyway?

pls let me know.

It should be fine, as you do want to add your wife name, No need to carry marriage certificate.
