strange scenerion cam from ukba for dependant application

hi guys
my wife applied last wk dependant visa from pakistan ,case was straight forward like other other dependant applicants.today she received a fone call on her mobile that british high commission islamabad called her for interview,i hv never seen any scenrio where they called dependant for interview.
if any one gone through thsi scenerio before plz guide me

Agree i never heard anything like this, also how can they call for interview in Pakistan as usually UKBA sits in dubai i think? It might be because i think as your dependet showed maintance funds in Pakistan under her own name, so they want to see from where she got this money from? also to double check did you fill form VAF10?

strange .... but nothing to worry about, just make sure your dependant is well prepared about the general questions like date of marriage, how you communicate, your date of birth, your mobile number, what do you do in uk, which visa you on etc

most likely it will be Skype interview.

Were you married when you (the main applicant) applied for T1 Entp visa?
and did you (the main applicant) applied in UK or outside UK?

hi guys
i hv spoken to 5 different solicitors today,all said they heard first time that they called for in person interview in islambad,,normally they take telephonic questioning and if they satisy they issue visa otherwise they refuse the visa ,so simple ,is nt it?
no one on this immigration board from last 6 years has a scenerio that his or her dependant has been called for interview.
my wedding was in early 2012,i went pakistan for 1 month for wedding ,
my wife showed her maintenance from pakistan in her own account with the balance almost 15 lac rupees.
i hv attached each and every thing with the case,almost 300 print outs of skype and viber chat record included with application.

lets see what hv they decided ?
i will update whatever their decision would be
