Dual Canadian and British with a Canadian Spouse to Germany?

Post by nohinsara » Thu Jul 19, 2007 1:17 am

I'm Dual for Canada and the UK, married to my Canadian Husband.
We're looking at moving to Germany to work for a branch of the company my husband works for.

I have no idea where to start... is there a spousal visa that my husband can apply for?

I haven't lived in the UK (or any other EU country) for any substantial amount of time, and I'm wondering if this is going to be a problem?

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Bear in mind that he won't be able to get British citizenship by living in Germany and the pathway to German citizenship will be a lot more difficult.
