British Citizen eligibilty

Post by swordfish20000 » Tue Apr 01, 2014 4:18 pm

Dear Seniors,

I am on tier 1 General Visa and my 5 years is due to finish on 08/06/2014.( separate visa not a dependant ) after which I can apply for PR .
I am married to British Citizen in Dec 2009 and living with my partner since then in UK.

can I apply for a British citizen directly or I will need to get my PR first ?
If I required to get PR first , how long do I have to wait to apply for a British Citizen after getting PR.

Early Response is really appreciated.

ILR is required. Once you are granted ILR, you can apply the same day (or later) for BC (assuming you meet all the requirements).
Check the FAQ before posting!
Citizenship (adults, children, passport)
EEA (EEA FP, RC, PR, Surinder Singh)
