Urgent query on bonus

Hi Guys,

Need this info urgently. I have an offer at hand which I negotiated to get a fixed bonus to meet my visa extension earnings requirement.

I read from the Guidance document that bonus given is counted in the 12months earnings. I assume this bonus will be taxed.
So my query is do UKBA consider whole bonus before tax as earning or do they consider the bonus after tax ?

If they consider it then should be Gross (before tax)

Gross amount that will be mentioned on your salary slip, make sure that your company gets it on salary slip ...
sounds obvious but i have had issues with this ..
it was a small company and bonus was not mentioned on salary slip, later when i asked they gave me a letter which said how much gross bonus did i get
but due to this, the amount entered in bank did not match the salary slip amount,,,, and ukba Matches the figures exactly !
so make sure u get that on ur pay slip !
