Hi,

Please can someone post home office number?

My friend got his wife's FLR M approval today but passport enclosed with approval letter doesn't belong to her. HO has sent someone else passport with her approval letter.

Now he is very confused as he is trying 0870 number but no one answering.

Can someone help us with this sitauation as to what should he do to get his wife's passport ASAP. he has booked flights for next week for his annual hoildays.

Regards

Please also confirm do I need to send my original biometric card and passport or photocopy of my passport and biometric card will be acceptable for FLR M application ? Thanks
Hi Fahad,Regards to your second question, you have to send photocopies of each and every page of your current passport and a photo
copy and your biometric card.
Your first question, I ticked 'yes' as although my wife has been on PBS dependent status for quite a few years now but if you see they asking is it the first time you applying in one of the above categories ? I would say yes as that is their first time applying for the dependent of the settled person. Tick yes and go straight to section 3.
I hope it helps. All the best.

Hi,

Can anyone please help me with questions 2.2 and 4.1 of the FLR(M) form.

I'm applying for my wife only and asking her application to be put on hold until I get a decision on my application - she is currently Tier 1 dependant. I don't want to include my son who was born in the UK but not sure what to do with question 4.1.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply - it is very helpful.

My wife today got her result for the trinity college grade 5 exam. It is printed and shows her full name. Would it be okay to send that with application and send the certificate in couple of weeks time?

I do have another problem - I've recently bought a house but will not be completing before next 2 weeks. In form it asks where you plan to stay and if you pay any mortgage, should I write the address of the new place we will be moving to and also at the moment i don’t pay mortgage but will be paying from next month should I put the amount or say no mortgage?

Thanks in advance

yes that's perfect .for house I recommend you write the address of new home because when they will consider app you will be at new home.its up to you better is write yes and then explain in other info page that you are moving in 2 weeks and you will pay certain amount as mortgage .it will keep your application upto date and you don't have to send more documents after ward

Thanks I'll prepare everything tonight and send the docs tomorrow or Friday - let's see, it's a long shot as we don't know what will happen after 6th April.

I remember reading some ones post that they got reply from HO that they can't decide his wife's application as there are some pending policy changes. If the changes are that applications on hold will come under new law then I'll be wasting another £550:(

Has anyone got FLR(M) on Trinity College Grade 5 English Test?

Not sure if B1 is acceptable as they ask for A1! is A1 higher than B1?

Hi malik,

Requirement for FLR M is A1. B1 is higher than A1 level. As you are providing a certificate which is above the required level than there shouldn't be a problem.

There is nothing to worry about as far as meeting the english requirement is concerned.

So relax.
