Very quick question re extension / unexpired validity

HI there,

My wife is due for a FLR(M) renewal shortly.

My question is - if we apply 28 days out from the expiry date of the visa - does the unexpired validity of the current visa get added to the new visa or do you lose that validity and the new visa starts on the date it's issued (if you go through a premium service centre.

Usually the new visa issue date is the date of application at PEO and you would lose the other '28 days'.

Has your spouse been on a spouse visa (FLR(M)) for two years already??
