Tier 2 ICT Long term VISA extension options

Hi,

I'm currently in UK and my VISA details are as below:

Tier 2(ICT) Established staff 20/Apr/2010 to 11/Apr/2011
Tier 2(ICT) Established staff valid until 20/May/2012 issued on 28/Jun/2011
Tier 2(ICT) Long term 11/Oct/2014 issued on 28/Jun/2012

Please provide guidance and let me know on:

1. How much more my employer should extend my current VISA 14/Oct/2014 in order for me to get eligibility to apply for ILR
2. Will I be able to switch employer and get new Tier 2 visa after 14/Oct/2014 or a cooling off period of 12 months is required?
3. If I switch employer will that have any impact on my eligibility to apply for ILR?

Please let me know if any additional information is required

1. you are not eligible for ILR if you stay on T2 ICT because you didn't have T2 ICT leave under the rules before 6 April 2010
2. you can switch to T2G any time if you change sponsor
3. If you switch to T2G you will be eligible for ILR 5 years after the switch
