Employer Letter for ILR (O)

Post by Sahib » Sat Apr 05, 2014 2:22 pm

Dear Forum members,
I need your help please, i am going to apply for ILR (O) through Tier 1 (G) route.

My salary slips are generated online and i need employer letter to confirm that these are original.

I am bit confused as who this letter should be addressed to; UK Border Agency or UK Visas & Immigration?

i thought UKBA has adopted new name. It is printed UK Visas & Immigration on top left corner of Set (O) application form but UKBA is still mentioned in guidence notes (page 5) under the address.

Please guide me who i sahll ask my HR to address the letter to?

ILR (O)
Do you mean SET(O)??

You can address the letter as :

To Whom It May Concern
Char (CR001 not Casa)
In life you cannot press the Backspace button!!
Please DO NOT send me a PM for immigration advice. I reserve the right to ignore the PM and not respond.

yes, sorry i mean Set (O).

HR already printed the letter in below format, as per my request;

UK Visas & Immigration - on top left corner
Public Enquiry Office
No mention of city as i did not find appointment i need yet so left this open

Date:

To whom it may concern

This is to certify................

Will this be ok or shall i request any changes?

Appreciate your advice as i am confused how to solve the puzzle ??

I think it's fine, what matters is the content of the letter, they don't require a special format.
Mine didn't mention UKBA at all, only "to whom it may concern" and this format was fine, twice (extension and ILR). So I don't think this is something you should be too worried about, what you wrote looks fine to me.
