It's really tricky. The form itself say to EEA to inform the NIN "IF HE/SHE HAVE ONE" - So we intend it's optional. Also we was together on Job Centre to request our NIN and the associate said: YOU DON'T NEED A NIN TO START TO WORK FOR THE 1STESTS 6 MONTHS - YOU WILL RECEIVE TODAY FROM US A LETTER CONFIRMING THAT YOU ARE UNDER PROCESS TO RECEIVE ONE AND IT MUST BE ENOUGH TO YOUR EMPLOYEER".
Ok, but the checklist of the very same form says....
If section 6 (employment) has been completed: contracts of employment, letter(s) from your
EEA national family member’s employer(s) confirming their employment or their most recent wage
slips (at least one) should be provided. These should feature a full National Insurance Number
rather than a temporary one.
If I understood right, the contract and/or wage slip must have a National Insurance number. I'm really confuse now. Should the EEA have or not the NINo to send to the Home Office ?
