PIO Card for my wife

Post by creative79 » Sun Apr 06, 2014 5:37 pm

Hi,

I am an Indian citizen (with Indian passport) married to a British citizen (of Pakistani heritage). My wife has never had a Pakistani citizenship. Could someone please let me know if she can apply for a PIO card? I believe she is eligible under section iii) of the eligibility criteria (married to an Indian citizen). However, I have been hearing all sorts of things so I just want to confirm.

If PIO is not possible, what other long-term visa options we could consider? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
