Family visa application - original documents

Hello All,

I am on ILR and want to apply for family visa in India for my in laws to come and visit us for 6 months.

Has anybody recently applied for the same. I wish to know whether I need to send my original documents ( especially biometric card) whilst applying.

In the past I have only sent copies , but on the gov.uk site now it asks to send 2 sets - one original and one copy.

Send originals and copies of all documents except identity documents you need to keep hold of (password/BRP etc).

For those other documents - send a certified copy.
