B1 ESOL and lifeintheuk

Hello all ny wife is from pakistan does she just require ESOL entry 3 speaking and listening for ILR ?

Also is the lifeintheuk just a written test as someone has mentioned a verbal test too ?

Your wife needs to pass both a B1 level English test and the Life in the UK test. The Life in the UK test doesn't include a writing element. It's taken on computer and she can choose to listen to the questions through head phones while reading the screen.

hi im still confused i was told you need english esol entry 3 speaking an listening to meet requirements and lifeintheuk is this correct ?

Yes. Your wife's ESOL level 3 pass should show the following:
'You must have passed all modes at level Entry 3. In addition, if you have passed Entry 3 Speaking and Listening, your Statement of Results must show that you achieved a Borderline level in all skills (Speak to Communicate, Listen and Respond and Engage in Discussion).'
