confusion on Correct SOC 2010 code for ILR

Hi guys,
I need you advice especially Manci.
If I am due for ILR soon.
I extended a further 3years as an Operations Analyst - (SOC code 2132) based on the old SOC 2000 list.
I want to apply for ILR next year but my SOC code no more exists on the new SOC 2010 list released.
My questions is which SOC code will I use & min salary earn when I want to apply for ILR.(obviously i dont need a new certificate of sponsorship when applying)
Should I use SOC code 2135,2136 or 2139 ?

Your employer will have to certify in writing that you are being paid the appropriate rate for the job.

The old 2132 (software professionals) was an umbrella code and it had different job descriptions and min. salaries within it. Check what job description was used in your last CoS. If the min salary for this job is now increased under one of the three new codes that replace 2132 then you will need to be paid the higher rate when applying for ILR.

Manci, Thanks for your response
My job desc is spread across 2135,2136 and 2139.
however, each code has related job titles which mine is not among any of sub-code above.
But the I feel mine falls under 2139 because the heading especially in the conversion table says "Information tech & Telecommunication professional Not elsewhere classified".
Am I right in saying that Operations Analyst would fall under this category?

I cannot help with IT job classifications. The choice of SOC code is the employer's choice, not yours, and the general guidance is that it should be the most relevant one, i.e. your job description should be the closest match to what is in the SOC. Your job title, which is something internal to the company, is only of marginal importance.
