UK Nationality- supporting docs required for Spouse AN form

Post by burney1970 » Wed Apr 16, 2014 1:35 pm

My wife UK Nationality is due May 2014.
Can some let me know what supporting docs are required for submission with AN Form. She is a housewife so what docs will be required and she only worked for a month in 2013 in the last 3 years since 2011.

Please clarify!
Thanks.

No because she is applying as spouse of BC as I am assuming you are British because you mentioned 3 years for your wife. Employment is not a requirement for citizenship.

We have lived more than 270 days out of the 3 years residency required for Spouse UK Nationality. What should be done as me & my wife lived about 340 days outside UK in the last 3 years since Jan 2011.

"As a requirement of residency period I have noticed that one should have not lived more that 270 days out of the 3 years". considering this what should we do as we have spent 340 days outside UK which is about = 340-270= 70 days, being over the 270 days.

In Jan 2014 the actual 3 yrs period was completed. but since we lived more than 270 days outside UK in last 3 years, when should we apply for nationality. We have already covered 80 days extra from 24 Jan to April 14 April.

Please help.

Thanks.

The application will be at discretion and at risk of possible refusal. You could wait a few months and then submit when the absences are within the allowance.

Hi,

Can some help on required documents for spouse to apply for BC. I am a naturalised BC three years back and my wife is on ILR for the past three years.
1. My wife is not working I am quite unsure what exact documents I need to send with AN application. any proof of residence required?
2. I am also planning to apply for my kid along with my wife can they go by any joint application that attracts single fee?

Thanks,
Mady

2. I am also planning to apply for my kid along with my wife can they go by any joint application that attracts single fee? There is no 'joint application' fee anymore. Full fee for each application.
