New Delhi VAC SMS service messages - kindly decode

Hello!

This may seem like a silly post, but I really need the SMS sent by VFS New Delhi decoded. The Delhi VFS has been having some technical problems and has not issued me a visa application reference number. This means that I cannot track my application online. They do send detailed SMS on every step they take, but most mean little or nothing to me. I am posting in order the messages I have received. The earlier ones are self-evident. The later ones are cryptic because I have absolutely no clue what these agencies are. Thank you for any help.

FYI. The last few messages mean your passport is ready for collection. They have made the SMS language so confusing that even the people at the VFS helpline weren't sure what they meant.

From Filing to processing, it took six working days to get my visa. 33 months stamped in, and I'm ready to rock and roll. Especially impressed since in September 2013, it took me 24 hours to get my family visit visa. Woot woot!

Hey, Even I received the same msgs, and su411 are you sure that the last few msgs mean that the passport is ready to collect, since I have not recieved any email too in this regard, and I need to travel from Kharagpur to Kolkata, in order to collect it, so do not want to get trolled

Yup. Am Positive. Called the VFS helpline to make sure, but they weren't certain either. Took a chance and went along to the VAC, and my passport was ready for collection. Oddly enough, it was right after I collected my passport that I received a message saying my passport was ready for collection. The guy at the VFS who gave me back my passport said they had complained about the obscurity of the SMSs to their supervisors, and that few people understood them.

Visa stamping happens in chennai for all VFS Bangalore application,you would contact VFS Bangalore for passport collection.

This is the message that I just received:

Visa application, GWF No. has been forwarded to the UKVI Decision making Outscan from OC to Embassy Center Mumbai (South)

Does that mean that my application is still under process and no decision has been made yet?
Wondering , since for others the Outscan is from OC to VAC and not the embassy.

We received similar messages - 3 messages on the day of application and 2 messages after 5 days. There was a word "courier" mentioned in the last message. Passport arrived a day later. All in all, it took only 4 working days for issuing the visa.

Hello,

My mother applied for a Family Visitor visa on the 22nd from Delhi and the text messages received are nowhere close to what has been posted above.

As of today (30th of April) she is receiving text messages dated for the 22nd when the application was made. I have really been trying to look for the helpline number, but just can't find it online.

Please do let me know if anyone has this number!
