Child born in UK required to apply for ILR Tier 1 G

Post by NARMAK » Thu Apr 24, 2014 12:00 am

Hi

I am going to apply for ILR with my Wife after 5 year on Tier 1 Visa. We have one kid born in UK aged 3 years. At the time of my last extension I applied for his visa as I need to go back home.

My questions is do I need to apply for his ILR as well when we applied.

My understanding is when we will receive ILR, he automatically become eligible to register as British citizen so We don't need to apply for his ILR.

Can anybody confirm Am I correct or we have to apply for his ILR as well.
