urgent help please - peo appt booked for 7th of May

Hi all,

I have booked a peo appt on the 7th of may to extend leave on tier 2 general for 3 years. my current leave expire on 30th of July 2014. on the cos, start date is 31st of July 2014.

my question is:

if I get the extension done through peo appt, when does my new leave start? from 31st of August or 7th of May?

i would really appreciate if someone can help me with this query asap please.
