Born outside UK of UK settled parents

Hi all,

I'm from Mauritius, married to a settled person in the UK. I have a spouse visa and an application for an extension of further leave has been sent to the HO. My husband and I have two kids, one boy and a girl. My son has a British passport and I haven't applied for my daughter's yet. I have a wedding to attend to in Mauritius in August and I'm currently with third child, with EDD in November. I plan on going to Mauritius until end of September.

I just want to know if for any reason I have a premature delivery in Mauritius, what passport do I apply for my third-born? Mauritius has a British High-Comm. Will I be able to apply for a British passport for the child or will it be ILE/R?

Does the person you are married to have British Citizenship?

Check with Airlines they wont allow past 28 weeks normally unless its emergency,

No. My husband has ILE/R.

Then the child would be granted leave to enter in line with your leave.

Will I have to submit an application prior to the journey back to the UK?

You'd need to apply for leave to enter.
