One team member visa

Can any one advise me,that is it must that both team member get visa or both don't get it....Is there any case one got the visa, and 2nd team member never got it. thanks

Me and my team member both won appeal after 4 months team member got his BRP, I am still waiting.
This issue should really be highlighted and seniors should put some light that apart from the personal circumstances i.e. Degree, immigration history, maintinance statement, what are the other grounds on which one team member gets visa on the same documents (common documents b/w team members ) and second applicant gets refusal.
