received child benefit when child is abroad

Post by jinny2337 » Thu Apr 24, 2014 11:49 pm

Dear Everyone,

Hi,

I realised that I still received child benefit for my son who is abrod at the moment. I already informed the benefit office last October and received a mail saying that they received the information regarding the change circumstances and also saying that i do not need to contact them again. Then I did not really care for that but I noticed today that they haven't amended my information when I prepared my naturalisation application.

I have just sent them a mail again and explained what happened.

Do you think it will affect my naturalisation application?

I would appreciate with your answer.

Regards
Jin

Inform them again. There shouldn't be a recoverable overpayment as it's as it's an admin error.

It shouldn't affect your AN application.
