English Language Test - KET question

My Wife in Pakistan just took the Cambridge English KET test and her online result is due on 9th May. When I look at:

It says for this test under Doucments Required: For tests taken on or
after 6 April 2013:
No documents required
(Scores must be verified
using the Cambridge
English online system
using name, date of birth
and passport number)

Does this mean that we don't have to wait for her to receive the hard copy certificate and that we can apply for visa before this by providing the online result? If this is the case how exactly do I do that and what do I put in the application. Will UKBA actually check the result online, is that what this means & that they are saying they dont need the certificate as it'll show online? Grateful for your kind responses.

My wife is about to apply from Pakistan for spouse visa. My question is: What documents are absolute must that she needs to provide from her side? I just need an exact list of what she needs.

i.e Original passport + copy, original Nadra + copy, whether anything needs certified. Does she need her birth certificate. Anything of her parents etc? She doesn't work and finished education at college level so may not have qualifications to show either. Grateful for any help you can give.
