BHC should have a process to deal with applications, but its reasonably and logically impossible to assess applications on first come first serve basis as some applications take longer than others to assess. In that case all applicants will face even longer delays and I hope BHC never follow this rule otherwise they will have an ease excuse for delays that assessmen and decision pending on previous applications...hope you understand what I'm trying to say...

Collections officer who received the envelop (application) from Gerry's open the file, go through the docs and strong/straight forward cases are sorted separately then complicated ones...I'm sure this is what they do...
Yeah there probably would be more delays, however atleast it would be fair to all applicants. Thats my opinion.

How do you know so much about the process. Do you know someone who works in Gerry's or BHC?

If you want to email them for an update. The email address you can contact is:

visaenquiries.islamabad@fco.gov.uk

However by emailing them they wont give you much information except tell you your application is under process.

You can use a different email address to contact them or if you want resend them the same email and on the subject line write 2nd email - Still no reply! When i normally write this on the subject line and resend them email again, they normally reply back. Worth a try.

Hi isshy and girl786,

My wife also applied on 6th june 2013 and we have not received any explanation for the delay! Its very frustrating as they don't respond to emails!

Always hope.. I have already tried. I will have to wait and see what happens. I was in Pakistan on holiday and thought I might be taking her back with me looks like I wont be. For all those who have been waiting like me inshallah we all receive a positive response soon.

You are better off telling him to go there himself, I know it's a drag but last time my hubby rang they told him to come in (got our hopes up) just to tell him it's on hold or some rubbish like that :(

Dear readers, do you know how to track applications submitted to Gerry's in Lahore? We were given a receipt with no tracking details on it and on visadropbox site it asks for computer number which I have no clue what it is?

I received email from HO about a week ago confirming that application was sent back to collection centre via a courier but gerry's have not contacted us so far.

Will appreciate your reply.

Really confusing. Maybe its the type of the job they are in. Some professions may seem more safer to them. Just a thouggt !

Do you know which category they applied under? Cat A or CAT B?

Any idea of what other documents they also submitted as supporting evidence for the visa case?

Dear usman81,

The only way to track new applications is internatonal enquiry helpline (email, chat, phone) ... When did you apply for the visa? what visa category?

That email from HO... it came to you or the applicant?

Just thought i'll share that the tracking service is back and running. Use this link to check your application status:

https://www.vfsglobal.org/UKG-PassportT ... /ddzHqXg==
hi...

is this link for old applications only (before 24-03-14) ? I think gerry's receipts for new applications have GWF reference numbers only which doesn't work on this link?
Hi im not sure to be honest, but my husband applied back in September 2013 and it works for him and at that time he was given GWF number and reference number. His refernce number works for tracking, not sure about GWF number, you might be right though maybe it does work only for old applicants.
Can any body tell how we can give app reference number in the URL, https://www.vfsglobal.org/ukg-passportt ... =&ErrMsg=1' but for some reason its telling me my receipt number is incorrect, Receipt number is in a format PAK xxxxxxx AT, i m not putting space between them still unable to get status of dependent visa application, i have put correct DOB as well, can any body guide that what is am doing wrong - i also checked with 'GWF' number but it still does not work

To Shahid78

Your application ref number should start like this ISL/ISB. The first 3 digits are a code to where you applied from. The example i gave is for submitting application at Islamabad gerrys.

When did you apply? Maybe it doesnt work for you because you applied after a certain date.
Submitted Application: Feb 2012
