Flr payment fail

Post by Microlam » Thu May 01, 2014 12:16 pm

Hi there,

I have submit the Flr (m) form last week and I check my account today found out not enough money in account because some autopay gone. Even I put the money back to my account and the bank said too late , the cheque will bounced.
So I call to UK Border Agency (UKBA) Immigration
Enquiry Bureau (IEB) on:
• Telephone: 0870 606 7766

They explain me in this case th payment department will send back the application form and cover letter to me and will give us 28 days to resubmit again. Even my visa already expired in this moment.

But I check some of people experience said they need to go back their country and resubmit again and I am very worry about this because my husband got heavy illnesses and I could not leave him this moment .

Hope anyone can share some opinion or experience to me.

Best regards

They'll give you 28 days to re-submit.

Hi,
My wife had the same issue. She posted her FLR M on 2nd April. HO tried to take payment from her Credit card on 4th April & it was declined as HO had keyed in wrong security code. I came to kno of this when we spoke to the bank on 7th April. She rang HO the same day and we were advised to resend the payment page to Sheffield & Durham office with new payment details along with a cover letter explaining the situation by Special delivery. They also provided us with a case reference num & was asked to quote it in the letter. In the meantime the HO lady whom we spoke had also put a note on their system not to resend my application as invalid as we feared our visa would expire by then. Luckily, the new payment was taken on April 16th April and she received her biometric today.
Maybe its worth trying the same thing in your case.
