Hi Manci/Gurus,

Could you please clarify whether I need to include last three years bank statements and pay slips as the proof the work when I apply for an extension?

"This page tells caseworkers what evidence an applicant must provide as proof of
maintenance to support an application for the Tier 2 category of the points-based system.

An applicant must provide evidence of personal savings which cover a period of 90
consecutive days, and no more than one calendar month before submitting the application."

no bank statements needed, you will be automatically awarded 10 points for maintenance if you currently have T2 leave, see para 154 of the T2 policy guidance:

The evidence of the proof of working section in the above link says the following
"Evidence of proof of working
• Payslips covering the full specified
period from your sponsor
The payslips must cover the full period of
employment that you have declared in this
application.
• Personal bank statements showing
payments made to you covering the
full specified period from your sponsor
The personal bank or building society
statements must cover the full period of
employment that you have declared in this
application.

A maintaince question,
I'm also trying to extend our Tier 2 general with my wife and baby born in UK(previous visa not applied for baby), do we need to show maintaince for baby as it was not shown previously?
