Ireland visit visa for mum - online utility bills

Post by DingDong » Sat May 03, 2014 6:01 pm

Hi Fellow members,

Just a quick question I am in the process of applying for a visit visa for my mum in the meantime all my utility bills are set for paperless online format.

Can I take out a color printout of my online utility bills & submit them with visa application & would that be sufficient, kindly please advise if someone has come across this scenario before.

Thanks

Hi, I'm not really sure but I would recommend that you contact the embassy where your mum is going to apply.

Do you have any paper-based bank statements?

If you really don't have any I guess there's nothing else that you can do but print a copy and write in the cover letter that, in order to be environmentally friendly, you have opted out of receiving paper statements.

I have definitely got paper based Bank statements, it's just only the utility bills that are in soft copy so my plan is to take a print out of these utility bills.

Shouldn't be a problem!

If you're really worried, just ask them but I'm sure they know that this happens now!
