Does the ex-partner have contact with the child? Did you formally have sole responsibility?

No, he has never seen my son since , and I have sole resposibility formally, I sent money to Thailand every month and also talk with my som every day ( I have phone call history), Now my son is 12 years old, I concern about my finance because I have no job ( I have savings about £3000)

You need to have adequate maintenance and accommodation. Your ESA is a joint claim, that with the CA and savings should be enough.

You need to complete VAF4A, Appendix 1 and SU07/12.

Click on each of the links in my previous post (blue underlined text). Your can navigate through the calculation and decide whether (or who) satisfies adequate maintenance.

Unfortunately that is not true. You are not in a private correspondence with a single individual who already knows everything about your situation; the people who can help will be reading this for the first time. Please continue asking questions in your original or previous thread as this new post makes absolutely no sense because it contains no information about your case.

ppl in visa centres are often wrong and not qualified to decide what application you file

many of them tell applicants complete nonsense

it is your right to file whatever application and appendix you think is right, they can't refuse to take it, it is up to the high commission/embassy to decide the outcome

a a general rule

if both parents are settled then it's appendix 1

if one of the parents has limited leave then it may be appendix 2 based on circumstances

If both parents are settled, have ILR, then it's adequate maintenance.

Then they'd be subject to Appendix FM if the Mother was granted leave under Appendix FM.
