PBS - Tier 1 G extension for Dependant (PEO)

PEO - PBS - Tier 1 G extension for Dependant (Main applicant is applying for ILR a day before via PEO)

I am applying for ILR (5 year route) on 30th April (PEO). My wife is currently on my Tier 1 G Dependant visa but she doesn't qualify for ILR (due to post July 2012 rule) so she will be applying for PBS extension as dependant on 1st May.

Question is:
1) In the form it says:
Are you applying for leave at the same time as the PBS main applicant that you are
dependant upon? - She will choose NO
Then it says:
Has the PBS main applicant received notification that their application has been
successful? - She will choose Yes (once my application is successful on 30th April)
Then it ask:
Under which category of the Points Based System has the main applicant applied?
- ILR is not listed as one of the answers. Only Tiers are listed.

Is there anyone with previous experience who can help ?


2)What documents would you suggest for dependant?

I am planning to attach:
-Application form
-Passport
-Photographs
-Photo Copy of Main Applicant's Passport and BRP
-Photo Copy of Main Applicant's ILR acceptance letter.
-Main Applicant's 3 months bank statement
-Main Applicant's 3 months payslips
-Main Applicant's employer's letter
-Dependant's address proof (Council Tax Bill/Bank Statement etc)
-Marriage Certificate

Is there any other document you would suggest ?

Hi Jimmy,

I am also in the same situation. In my case , my wife is main applicant and she is appearing for ILR along with our kids on 28th May.(I switched to my wife's dependant only in Aug 2012). I am planning to book an appointment on 2nd of June as a PBS dependent.

As per my knowledge, the documents you mentioned are more than sufficient for PBS dependant category.(Maitenance fund, Marriage certificate & address proof are mandatory)

Between, when exactly your wife became your dependant and when will you be completing your 5 years of living together in UK?

Hi,
I got my extension with out my wife visa. Now wanted to extend her visa from uk. But i want to book PEO. I am not sure how to book and appointment for dependent alone. When i try to book an appointment in online. it was not allowing me. Please help me if you know any other way to book.

Hi Suresh,

You can book PEO appointment using PBS dependant options. Only limitation with this option is you have to book individual appointments for each dependants
