Tier 2 General Dependent Visa for Child - Accommodation

Post by dara2k » Thu May 08, 2014 8:28 pm

Hi,

I am trying to apply for Tier2 dependent visa for my child who is currently in India.I am currently sharing accommodation with my cousin. I wanted to know whether a No objection letter from my cousin will suffice to support accommodation documents. Do I need to provide any other documents to support my application. I do not have any rental agreements. Any help would be much appreciated.

Technically, your cousin can provide you a supporting letter on accommodation. However, its purely depends on the case officer, if you are already in the UK for a while and now inviting a 'kid' as well on 'shared' accommodation 'may' not convince them.
Again, as i said, it depends on the case officer.

Thanks for your response. I am sharing accommodation in a three bed room house. I hope that will justify as I am mentioning in no objection document.
