Query on absence

Post by vin1983 » Sat May 10, 2014 11:23 pm

Hi

My total absence outside UK is less than 180. In some years my total absence is more than my annual leave as I had some compensatory offs/informal agreement with my manager/client about taking extra days off. Will this cause any problem? There is no unpaid leave and I am on continuos employment with same company from last 5 years.

Thanks

Hi Vin1983,

I am in the same as you were.I am going to apply my ILR very soon.

I have got some leaves which have not been covered by annual leaves but they are compensatory offs.

My employer is not ready mention about those leaves in the employer letter.

So, I would like to ask you if your ILR was successful?

Please reply...

thanks
Tapas

if your leave was less than 180 days/year (continous employement), then you should be ok. just mention the leaves taken from company leave allowance and mention rest as your paid leave. good luck
