Hi Amber and Ali..... I have no i tension to give wrong information which may cause problem for others. Yes Amber u right always have to give them wife details but it is only for partner details to get through the process. For your kind information in the form you can see their is a option that is you under immigration control? Wife need to tick their as she is under immigration control this make them aware that only husband is applying.
On the other hand I have personally went to HMRC enquiry office and asked them about this purpose and they said don't need to worry about it.
It is up to u whether u going to accept it or not.
Thank u

I doubt they're entitled to much considering the wife is earning 26k!

Hi Tulib,
I am afraid that I have to agree with Amber on this point. I know your intentions were always clear, and according to you, you have ticked all the right boxes, and declared every thing, but mind it that the Home Office have to ascertain that you can take care of your dependants with out relaying on public funds. And in case of Ali although as I said before they will give credit to his wife for earning 26k, but in my humble opinion relaying on different benefits will flag up against him.
I know you are confident that it will not affect his wife's application, but I would suggest to see a seasoned immigration consultant to discuss the matter. In the mean while while, Ali please do share your experience with all of us. All the best.
Kind regards
Shahjee

By the grace of God, today I received my approval letter
Thanks everyone here for your prayers, guidance and togetherness that kept me going while waiting!!
App sent: 03/02/2014
Bio : 18/02/2014
Approval: 09/05/2014

The good news is still sinking in... Good luck to everyone waiting and my prayer to the Almighty Lord is to grant everyone their indefinite leave.

All those with criminal offences I declared mine on the form, in closed a PNC check, I was worried because although they were spent I have never declared in previous applications.

People need to abstain from giving information which is incorrect, we're talking about potential prosecution here. This is the problem with these long threads, they're difficult to moderate. People should start new threads rather than post on here, particularly for a specific case.

Ali1975 post a new thread for your questions.

Hi every one

I applied for tier 4 visa last year April 2013 which was refused then I lodged an appeal against this decision and while the appeal was pending for hearing I had completed my 10 years so I withdrawn my Appel and applied for ILR on 10 years basis then got my ILR on 10 years basis back in February and got my driving licence and life in uk back but as my last visa was refused and my current passport was with them (removal dept ) I did not got it back ..any guidance what to do ?... And to whom I can write or call to get back my current passport and if you can post the link for the help of other peoples as well as I saw some other cases like this ?...Thanks

Hi all,
Is there any one who got ILR recently has same case as me ?

I applied for ILR on the basis of 10 years long residence in December 2013. I have enrolled my biometric on first week of January 2014. I am still waiting for decision and worried about a mistake done in 2005 in visa extension.

My visa was expiring on 31st of December 2005 and I applied on 28th of December. According to the SAR file (Subject access request) HO received my application on 30th of December. So it was an on time application but as HO couldn’t take the fee from my bank they returned the application on 19th of January 2006, I then returned the application with postal order on 6th of February which HO received on 8th of February and later HO granted me leave to
remain.

Thanks

hi guys as Amber said this topic is getting too long and difficult to manage.
can someone who knows how lock this topic and create a new ILR 10 YEARS LONG RESIDENCY 2014 TOPIC where all new post will go.
I think that will help and enable people to go back easily to see issues which has been discussed already.

hi , please mention clearly the reason why the application was refused because city and guild certificate is clearly mentioned in the list.
as level 3 which is equivalent to B1 is higher then level A1 , A1 being the minimum requirement for FLR (M). and B1 is the minimum requirement for ILR. in my opinion B1 should go well with FLR (M).. Correct me if i am wrong . Also can you please notify which documents did you submit for english language test.
