Hi All,

I need a guru to reply to my following questions.

1) Can we hire EU residents and students to work , will they count towards 2 employee requirement ?

2) Salaries paid to employees can be termed as INVESTMENT ?

3) Office space is included in investment or not ?

4) Investment in Precious metals and shares in considered investment or not ?

Sorry for short answer

1) yes you can. Also ILR holders are considered as settled persons
2) yes. Only your own renumeration is not considered as proper investment. Anyway at the initial stage all employees in all companies get their salaries from investors/founders However if you have IT business and hire a piano teacher for your kids, it might not qualify.
3)yes as well as any other business spending
4) no. Buy and hold is not working with this type of visa. Though there may be some exceptions.
