Tier 1 General - Early Extension .Advice needed !

Hi All,

As per the recent news , Tier 1 General extensions will close in April 2015. However , my current leave to remain in the UK on a Tier 1 General visa will expire in Feb 2016 . Given that i wont be able to apply for an extension in 2016 , could i do that in March 2015 ( almost 1 year before my leave to remain expires?). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think you can. Since they are closing it in April next year, thats the only way.
There is ukba helpline for visa queries. Check on their site and call them up to confirm.

Of course you can apply 1yr be4 visa expires.
Hope any gurus can also advice.
