Premium Service - Passport stamped same day?

Hi all,

I'm switching employers from Tier 2 General to Tier 2 General, CoS has been approved. Am planning on taking a same day Premium service appointment in Croydon but haven't been able to get any details if the passport is received the same day. As it's the long weekend next week, have a trip to Europe planned and might cut it close if I take an appointment for Wed/Thu this week. Thinking it's best to push it out to the following week or have you'll always received the stamped passport within the same day of the appointment?

Also, since I've been in the UK for a few months, the TB test doesn't have to be taken again right?

They no longer endorse passports - you'll get a Biometric Residence Permit, which will take a week or two to be delivered.

You don't need another TB test, that's only required overseas.
