Hello ,
Can you please advice me,I m really worried .
I entered uk on 16th oct 2010, soon after I got the tier1 visa stamped on 15th oct 2010.But had to leave after a month to India on nov 16th 2010 since I could not secure a job in uk,so had to wrap all my things in my home country and again came back on April 2011 to uk and have been present here till now with no absence.Got my 1st extension and have a visa from oct 2012 to oct 2015. So m I eligible for ILR in 2015?i have asked this same question on this forum but I get a mixed response.
I have in total of only 150 days of absences (at a stretch)till date.and since I m on tier 1 general, what letters can I provide for the absences?
I hope that the 180< days of absences will be still accepted in 2015,just worried cause ukba is not allowing extensions afte April 2015.if not can I apply for Extension be4 1yr of expiry.
gurus Please advice
Thanks for your time.

So far as absences do not exceed 180 days you should be ok, if not an extension should be sought.

As long as absences are less than 180 days in each of the 5 yr qualifying period it should be OK. Provided a supporting evidence is presented with the application such as a personal covering letter explaining the case in detail as to why the initial gap. Providing P60s of 2010-2011 will be a good evidence as tax paid or any payslips from April 2011 to support this that you are in UK paying tax and are employed. 150 days < 180 days so don't think this can be an issue.

Seek a professional immigration advisor on this case as Tier 1 ext no longer will exist 6th April 2015.
