First of all congrats to Ash. May Allah (swt) bless you and your wife with happiness for the future. Ameen.

I've been all over the place this morning and just got back from the solicitors. The visa (surprise surprise) has been rejected which is exactly the same response the MP got before the interview. It's very confusing why would they ask her to come in for a interview if they had already decided to reject it? Anyway I'm going to give an appeal a shot. If I've waited this long I suppose I can wait longer.

Ahmed bro im really sorry to hear this.
What reason did they give for rejection ?

And dont give up. Insha'Allah at some point you will be together with your wife.

I won't give up musriz. I really appreciate the support on this forum.
Apparently I didn't give enough evidence for my second job so they think it doesn't exist. It says they've made checks with HMRC and my job doesn't exist which is total nonsense so I've requested my employment history from HMRC.

Whatever Allah decides we must accept. Everything happens for a reason and I bet there's a hidden benefit to all our situations. Have faith people!

I've found a good solicitor who a few friends and family have recommended and he said that these ECO guys are not qualified people. He said that as well as evidence you should provide explanations in your application for everything. So insha'Allah the solicitor will have to explain and dumb everything down for them and I'll get any evidence needed. I'll be keeping you guys informed as my journey goes along.

Some agents are useless anyway. Like we haven't paid enough for these applications. They're probably just trying to catch you out by pushing you to see if you crack incase somethings not genuine.

Alhamdhulillah glad your still positive.
If they were not convinced regarding your second job there was no need for them to call your wife for an interview.

Salam everyone.. hope your all well..
My partners visa was rejected late last year. I have my review deadline at the ens of this month.

Is anyone else in a similar position waiting for a review on appeal bundle? Or has anyone had an overturn awaiting a call letter from ECM?

Why do people come to the UK?

214,000 for work
177,000 to study
71,000 for family reasons
24,000 seeking asylum
19,000 returning home
21,000 no reason stated
Estimated figures based on ONS survey data
May the blessings of Allah fill your life with happiness and open all the doors of success now and always.

Hi guys,

I was going through form VAF4A appendix 2 section 3A salaried employment.
I recently had a pay rise (about 2 months ago) so am not earning the same amount for six months and my job title hasn't changed either. I have been in the same employment for more than 12 months now and meet the financial req even without the pay rise.

What is the difference between cat A and B here. Also for question 3.12 do I need to answer No and then for question 3.13 No as well? Do I need to fill questions from 3.14 to 3.20 and question 3.22?

...

3.12 Has your sponsor been in employment with the same employer and earning the amount, as detailed in 3.11 above,
continuously for 6 months prior to the date of the application? (Category A)
Yes If ‘Yes’ go to 3.21
No if 'No' go to 3.13

3.13 Has your sponsor had other salaried employment, in the UK, in the 12 months prior to the date of application? (Category B) Put a cross (x) in the relevant box

Yes
No (go to 3.21)

Hi All,

My wife is about to apply spouse visa on my behalf from Lahore. I am postman currently working full-time, earning above the required earning threshold. I am currently waiting for the UK NARIC assessments for degree compatibility and the English language assessment.
I have a couple of questions regarding my application. All feedback from the guys out there is appreciated.
I am paid weekly (£417.70) but I do plenty of overtime to supplement my wages. In the month of April I have had an unpaid special leave for two weeks. For that particular month I have earned almost £831 but overall I have earned more than 11k in past 6 months. Could that drop in earning like to cause any problem?
Could the age gap of 10 years cause any problem? I am 32 and my wife is 22

Mooty, as long as you have continuous payslips for 6 months, I do not think the unpaid leave for the 2 weeks should matter. Age should also not matter.

Mooty I read some posts on this forum where members wrote BHC take the lowest amount payslip and multiply that by 12.
Its better not to take any chances so if you can avoid that patticular month it maybe better. Best to seek some legal advice.
