Urgent Help Needed-Delay in processing UK Tier2 General Visa

Hello Everyone,

Would like to have your advise on following.

I have applied for UK Tier2 General Visa from Mumbai on 28th Feb 2014. Its almost 35+ working days and decision is not yet taken on my application. Latest status is Deferred : " delayed whilst further enquiries are conducted".
I have submitted all necessary documents. Decision was expected within 15 working days. Not sure why this delay is and whats going on. Is there anyone who is facing or faced similar situation. Your advise in this respect is precious. Pls assist.

I resigned from my service this month. Situation is I can not go for new opportunity untill decision from UK Immigration. I am not sure how many days will it take. What would be your advise for me in this scenario. Pls advise.

I see that VFS is no longer associated with UK Governemnt for visa application.
Can you provide me the link where the application status is being updated?
I am unable to find one on the VFS site.

@urfriend yeah seems like we are both on same track. Can you please confirm have you submitted the job offer letter with your application. I have applied on the 21st March and still waiting.

No I have not. Not needed i guess(In my case). COS reference no has everything mentioned on it. Next week completing 12 weeks, expecting news from BHC.

@urfrnd I am on the same boat. I applied for tier2 visa from bangalore on 3rd April. No response yet. Two of my friends got their visa within a week. Surprised and frustrated about the delay in my case.

Nope. Sunil has got his approved in 94 days. So by this month end.

I've also applied for Tier 2 General but from UK itself as I'm switching from PSW. I had applied on 30/01/2014 and still havent received a decision. I've been told that there's been an issue with ETS TOEFL and they've kept all such cases on hold. I had provided my ETS scorecard as proof of english language requirements.
Has anyone done the same? If yes then the delay is due to ongoing issues with ETS.

94 days as a whole or working days and during this time have BHC contacted his employer or not.

Mate, It is just an initial guess. Sunil had applied on 27/1/2014 and gt his visa on 1st May thats why i said 94 days. I contacted BHC and they said they may take more time as it depends upon individual case.

Got an email today from embassy, that the final decison has been made . Not sure visa is accepted or not, fingers crossed.
