Help

Post by kpk1234 » Sat May 24, 2014 6:00 pm

Hello All,

I have a situation hope you could shed some light. I currently have two jobs and the second job was started recently in January. I am due to apply for my ILR and I fall under Pre April 2010 rules through Tier 1 route. The problem I have is I am falling a bit short on financial requirement ( inclusive of my pay which I get in July) which I am currently trying to get it sorted somehow by working overtime. If not the other option I have is to apply for FLR(M) as my wife is British citizen. I am in UK since Sep 2007. If I go down the second route (FLR(M)) when can I apply for settlement? Or can someone suggest a better option?

Sep 2007 - July 2009 Student Visa

Aug 2009 - Aug 2014 Tier 1 General.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

kpk

if you go for flr route the earliest you can apply ILR is August 2017 as 10 year as spouse you can apply ILR in 2019 by going through 2.5 years extension each time and also should meet financial requirement

Sep 2007 - July 2009 Student Visa

Aug 2009 - Aug 2014 Tier 1 General.

Thansk SS.

I am falling short of approx £99 out of minimum £20000 in the last 12 months. I am sure UKBA will not over look this. All though my total income in both jobs is more than £20000 but as I started my second job in Jan I am falling a bit short. Is there a way I could convince case worker or something?
