New job offer after leave to remain finishes!!

Hi everyone,

I need your advice please!
My present leave to remain on Tier 2 General is till 6th July 2014. Last week I was offered a new job which will potentially start only on 6th August 2014. I have accepted the offer and I hope the CoS and other papers would be ready in the next 2 weeks. And then I will be able to apply for the new visa.
My questions are:
1> What can I do in this 1 month before starting the new job (from 6th July till 6th August) ?
2> Can I continue working (full time) for my present employer till then OR is it 20 hours per week?
3> Or do I just sit at home till the new visa and BRP is done?[/b]
Please advice.

You can continue working for your old employer until the start date in the new CoS. See the HO guidance.
