Tier 2 Dependent short term

Hi, I am currently on Tier 2 visa and have 8 months left on it, I am trying to apply for dependent visa for my wife, I have not seen any time condition for length of my visa, is the short time left on my visa going to be a problem for my wife's dependent visa?

Hi ,

I have a similar issue as in my Tier 2 general expires in September 2014 but I want to call my wife over as a dependant. I am currently struggling with which application form to fill in. There is the VAF10 form which is from DEC 2012. There is also a PBS tier 1,2 .. Dependant form ( from April 2014?). However I feel the latter is for someone applying from the uk.

My wife is applying from India so I believe I can use the online application?

I got confused with the online application for dependent visa on Visa4UK. Question is about type of visa, purpose of application and type of application:

PURPOSE OF APPLICATION: ?
TYPE OF VISA: ?
TYPE OF APPLICATION: ?

Also, what type of documents she need from me other then this?

Employment letter
Bank statement with req funds
My PASSPORT COPY
My BIOMETRICS CARD COPY
Marriage certificate
UK PRE-DEPARTURE TUBERCULOSIS DETECTION PROGRAMME MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

Do these need to be originals? Or photocopies should work?
