From Tier 2 to Tier 1Ent

Hi all, can someone please advise
My friend has a T2 visa valid until 2016 but is not getting on well in the job. She wants to switch to T1 Ent. If her application is refused, will her T2 visa still be valid?

What are the requirements for the T1 Ent?

She can apply in country. Yes her Tier 2 visa will remain valid if she gets decision before its expiry

Your friend is on Tier 2 Visa

She is allowed to make in-country switching. However she has to decide which route she has to take.

£200K is one option and £50K from UK based funding sources is another.

If she gets refused while her Tier 2 is still valid, she will not get appeal rights. If she gets refused after her Tier 2 visa expiry date, she will get appeal rights.
