Tier 2 and ILR query

I would be grateful if someone could clarify the issue stated below
I got my Tier 2 G status stamped in passport on 15 January 2010 (entry clearance) and came over to UK on 01 march 2010 with delay of 45 days between visa being granted and entry to UK. Due to some problems my job didn't start until 05 June 2010 and since that date I have been continuously employed on Tier 2 G.
My 5 years of being on Tier 2 G will be over in January 2015. My 5 year period of being continuously employed will be completed in June 2015.
Can I apply for ILR in December 2014 or do I have to wait till May 2014 (28 days rule). I will really appreciate your help and assistance.
