Non EEA family member travel without EEA patner

My eea patner is on a business visit to china for few weeks.
I am in the UK and I have ago job interview in Italy in May. How can I travel without my eea patner and come back to UK?

what kind of visa you have In uk? if I assume you hold A RC as family member of eu citizen and your eu citizen accompany you or you joining him in Italy no visa required .
otherwise you have to apply for Schengen visa .

please explain bit more your situation.

Sorry if I am not adding anything to your query but I am in sort of the same predicament . I am a holder of the non EEA family member residence card, and I reside in London with my spouse. We intend travelling together to Paris next month without me getting a French visa. I know it won't be a problem since the French consulate confirmed that I won't need one if we go together.

However the problem is that my wife has to return to London 2days earlier than me. My question is; will I have problems on my return to the uk alone? Considering the fact that I have the right to reside in the uk.
