Son Tier-1 Visa and Wife's Bank Statement?

Good Afternoon guys,

I am applying for Tier-1 dependent visa for our son born here in UK. I will pay for the visa fee from my own account but for maintenance funds of 90 days, I am planning to use my wife's bank account statement who is also dependent of mine.

I am asking is it OK to use wife's bank statements as maintenance funds for our son?

Don't think that will work. Are you guys not joint account holders?
