HSMP- Payslips

Post by mariosuresh » Tue Jul 31, 2007 7:36 am

Hi,

The form16 is given from April 2006 to March 2007(financial year). Do I need to send the payslips from April 2006 to March 2007 or I need to send the latest payslips from July 2006 to July 2007 i.e., 12 months pay slips.

Best Regards
MS

You need to send the pay slips for the 12 months duration you are claiming the points in Past earning section.

Hi Mariosuresh,

It is your choice actually, u have to weigh the period that will fetch u enough points.
- which period do u want to claim out of the 15 months period before your application. assuming you are applying in August......you can use 12 months payslip starting from May 2006- July 2007. u can either use May 2006 - April 2007 or August 2006 - july 2007.

If your payslip is May 2006- April 2007 then u can use Form 16 from april 2006-march 2007. the only month remaining which is april, just explain in the exceptional consideration. I THINK THIS IS UR BEST OPTION

Hi,

IT tax return and payslips are required evidence. However if you are not able to provide either one of these, then as mentioned in the HSMP form, bank statements or letter from the employer can be given as exceptional evidence, provided you give a valid reason why the required documents could not be produced.

I have seen members who have applied before in this forum have provided IT return, payslips as well as bank statements.

If your period claimed doesnt fit into the financial year, then for the remaining months, you can provide bank statements and state the reason so.
