Tier 1 (General) ILR Application for Child Born Outside UK

Dear All,

here is my situation,

Me, wife and 3.7 years old baby born outside UK are currently on Tier 1 (general) visa status.

Current visa expires on 1st December 2014,

Eligibility for ILR: from August 2014.

Question:

can I apply naturalization for my baby after successful ILR application of myself and wife in August 2014? I am planning to go for PEO Appointment for myself and wife only. baby's visa isvalid untill 1st december 2014.

someone told me that I dont have to apply baby's ILR application because he will be eligible for naturalization once both parents get their ILR status. can someone confirm if this is possible or not?
