One Month Salary Slip Missing ?

Post by DharamS » Tue Jul 24, 2007 1:10 pm

Hi Everybody,
I am planning for UK HSMP. I have completed all the documentation work.
Can some one please clarify my issue. I have changed my company in the month of Jan'2007. I joined the next company on 01st Feb'2007.
Now for the month of jan'2007 I don'have any salary slip and the full and final statement from the previous company came to me in the month of march'2007.
So there are not any bank statement or salary slip for jan month.
Can I show a one month gap in my prevoius earnings ?

But my earnings of 11 months gives me all the 45 points.

Thanks in advance.

How can you produce a monthly pay slip for a month you didn't work?

If you worked 3 months out of the last 12 and made enough money, then obviously you wouldn't have to prove income for the other 9 months.

Thanks for your reply.

I did not say that I have not worked, I am just saying that I changed the company ( did the work up to 29th Jan in the previous company ) in which all the settlements have been done in the full and final statement in the month of march.. so in this case I don't have the salary slip for this month...

Can I show one month gap...out of 12 months.
Suppose I am showing my earning from Aug 2006 to Jul 2007 (12 months) with Jan2007 as a gap. Will it work for me...

Thanks

Not sure of the gap in the 12 month period.

Did you check the guidance notes for the 12 month period.

Payslips

Post by mariosuresh » Wed Jul 25, 2007 6:10 pm

Hi,

The form16 is given from April 2006 to March 2007(financial year). Do I need to send the payslips from April 2006 to March 2007 or I need to send the latest payslips from July 2006 to July 2007 i.e., 12 months pay slips.

Best Regards
MS

Hi DharamS,

It is okay for you to use the 11 months that you have the complete documents once it covers you to obtain 45 points. I used only 8 months payslip and i obtained 45 points and my HSMP was approved. It's okay, go ahead.

I was under the impression that submitting 12 months pay slip is mandatory, just submitting the no of pay slips which can earn you points required wouldbe enought ... if this is true for all cases or you had an exception clause ....

Hi Mariosuresh,

It is your choice actually, u have to weigh the period that will fetch u enough points.
- which period do u want to claim out of the 15 months period before your application. assuming you are applying in August 2007......you can use 12 months payslip starting from May 2006- July 2007. You can either use May 2006 - April 2007 or August 2006 - july 2007.
If your payslip is May 2006- April 2007 then u can useForm 16 from april 2006-march 2007. the only month remaining which is april, just explain in the exceptional consideration. I THINK THIS IS UR BEST OPTION.

Hi vs007,

No, i did not have an exceptional case. I just used the payslips for 8 months because i only worked for continuous 8 months out of the 15 months. so i just used that, and since i earned enough points it was okay.
